When it comes to bus fans, a group of musicians from Glastonbury have taken it to the next level.

• First Bus South, operator of Buses of Somerset, has started construction works to electrify its Taunton & Minehead depots

Veterans and UK armed forces personnel using First Bus services in Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk are being offered free travel during remembrance commemorations this year.

• 21 new vehicles operating on eight routes, stretching across England
• New partnership will create 65 employment opportunities as part of First Bus’ growth strategy

• First Bus is offering free travel for all veterans and UK Armed Forces personnel travelling to Remembrance Day activities on Sunday 10th November and Monday 11th November 
• Veterans and military personnel will get a free return journey by wearing their military uniform or showing the driver their Service ID card 

• First Bus has a strong affiliation with the Armed Forces, with many veterans working for the business   

First Bus has officially started work at its Basildon Bus Depot as part of a major initiative to introduce 55 electric buses to the area, funded through a partnership with Essex County Council.

Local bus operator First South is offering free travel across its bus network for all veterans and UK Armed Forces personnel travelling to Remembrance activities on Sunday 10th and Monday 11th November.
