A powerful poem and accompanying video has today been released by acclaimed poet, George the Poet, celebrating the power of buses as a central pillar of local communities around the UK, as research reveals Brits are more afraid of connecting to people in their communities than ever before.

First Bus is offering free bus travel for people attending local Armed Forces Day events.
- Free bus travel on 29th / 30th June for any person travelling to an organised event wearing uniforms of the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Marines, Royal Air Force, and any associated cadet force. Free travel is also allowed if a person is in possession of a current Ministry of Defence issued card, with their branch of military stated

- New research commissioned by First Bus finds that four in five Brits think buses are an important way of connecting with their community, inspiring wordsmith, George the Poet, to create a powerful poem

First Bus Announces Expanded Bus Services in Norwich from 23 June
- Turquoise Line X13 will now offer faster journeys from Attleborough to Norwich, and route extended to Norwich Rail Station.
- Introduction of Green Line 17 service providing additional connectivity between St Stephen's Street, Castle Meadow, Yarmouth Road, and Broadland Gate.
