Free travel is also allowed if a person is in possession of a current Ministry of Defence issued card, with their branch of military stated

- First Bus announced it has been successful in being awarded a contract by Derbyshire County Council to run a new bus service linking Killamarsh with Chesterfield.
- The First Bus network in South Yorkshire now provides a bus link between the areas of Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, North east Derbyshire and Chesterfield.
- The new service 80 starts on Sunday 12th May 2024.
