First Bus is inviting residents and visitors to experience Norwich from a whole new perspective with the launch of the Norwich Sightseer, an open-top sightseeing service showcasing the very best of the City of Stories.
Running daily from Saturday 24th May to 20th September 2025, the Norwich Sightseer offers a scenic circular route with 11 hop-on, hop-off stops around the historic city. “We’re really proud of our fine city and want to help people see it from a rather special viewpoint,” said Piers Marlow, Managing Director at First Bus East of England. “There’s nothing quite like a relaxing ride aboard an open-top bus to enjoy the city’s stunning architecture, heritage, and vibrant atmosphere, all while soaking up the sights from above.”
Stefan Gurney, Executive Director of Norwich Business Improvement District, said: “The Norwich Sightseer opens exciting opportunities to discover and explore the city from a new perspective. It’s a brilliant addition to Norwich’s visitor offering, helping connect people with the places that make our city so special."
Buses run hourly from 10:00 to 16:00, seven days a week. While on board, passengers can enjoy a live audio commentary, rich with local insight, fascinating facts, and a touch of humour, perfect for visitors and locals alike looking to rediscover Norwich from a fresh angle.
All Norwich Sightseer tickets are valid all day, allowing unlimited hop-on, hop-off travel:
