First Bus introduces improvements for 10.4 million Leeds customers

  • Focus on punctuality for 16 services
  • Additional journeys added to Park and Ride network including the weekend

First Bus is introducing changes to selected Leeds services from Sunday 18 May

The changes involve timetable alterations and some frequency adjustments 16 services operating across the city and increased journeys on the Park and Ride network.

Michael Moore, Head of Network for First Bus in West Yorkshire, said: “These are focused on improvements to punctuality for more than 10.4 million customers a year, to deliver a better journey experience and help attract more passengers.”

Additional journeys are also to be added across the Park and Ride network including more services at the weekend.

  • Elland Road PR1 – changes to times at peak periods to improve punctuality, additional early morning journeys on Monday-Friday, additional Saturday service.
  • Temple Green PR2 - changes to times at peak periods to improve punctuality, additional early morning journeys on Monday-Friday. Service extended to operate to Skelton Lakes.
  • Stourton PR3 – changes to times at peak periods to improve punctuality, additional Sunday service.
