First Bus invests almost £1 million in Anderson Travel fleet
First Bus has strengthened its coach offering with an almost £1 million investment in new Mercedes-Benz vehicles for Anderson Travel, supporting the continued growth of its specialist coach business.
The investment includes two 53-seat Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches, two Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibuses and a new 19-seat executive minibus, providing customers with greater capacity, comfort and flexibility across Anderson Travel's wide range of services.
Based in London, Anderson Travel is part of First Bus's portfolio of specialist coach businesses, providing premium coach and minibus services for schools, businesses, sports teams, tour operators and private hire customers. Its diverse portfolio includes school transport, airport and hotel transfers, corporate travel, football club transport, tours and group travel across the UK and Europe.
The business works with schools across the capital, supports football clubs including Leyton Orient and AFC Wimbledon, and partners with leading tour operators to provide transport for domestic and international visitors.
The new Mercedes-Benz vehicles have been specified to deliver a premium customer experience, with luxury leather seating, USB charging points, climate control and a range of enhanced comfort and safety features. The Tourismo coaches also feature onboard washroom facilities, making them ideally suited to longer-distance journeys and touring work.
